Mr Zach uncovered the ZAscension method to scoring for GP when he was a student. Instead of having been good at GP ‘all along’, Mr Zach himself struggled with GP during his JC days (so he really does understand and can relate to students’ struggles!). But he developed his own methods at conquering the subject and found them especially effective. It involves realising that GP is not just about knowledge, but about how the right Skills and Thematic Content knowledge can come together to produce a compelling essay and a strong comprehension response.
Mr Zach’s methods yielded results when he went on to get 100 percentile in school and scoring an A for GP. He began enjoying the subject and wanted to share the joy of learning GP with students. Later on, Mr Zach decided to become a teacher just for GP because he sees so many students struggling with the subject and wants to share his unique way of approaching GP.
